So, how are these priced? I’m glad you asked. For each book, I’m estimating it will cost about $18 in print and shipping costs. This leaves about $22 left per copy to produce the book. This means professional copyediting and proofreading, layout, and original cover art. I have budgeted about $600 for art (no photoshop wizardry here, only the best for you!) and the rest for editing and layout. At a minimum, that cost is going to be $1500, with an additional $500 for book listing fees, ISBN numbers for each version, as well as administrative fees for distribution platforms like Ingram. All this to say, as soon as we hit 120 copies or $4800 total funding, the sequel gets on shelves, and your books are in the mail. Right now, we are at $2496. Lets do this!
